Possibly The Best Chocolate Cake Ever!

We thought long and hard about what this should be. The title itself is a hefty statement to live up to. We've researched endless recipes done countless product tastings, we've lived, eaten and breathed chocolate cakes, and all put on weight as a result of our findings!

We wanted a cake that would appeal to everyone; those customers who can't eat wheat, people who don't like nuts, a cake that could be transformed into a sensational pudding with a little ice-cream or fresh cream for example. It would be wickedly indulgent in it's own right, and it would work as a birthday or celebration cake too.

It was a tall order and it was a hard task to chose the final recipe, but we knew at some point we had to make a decision for the definitive one! As with all our cakes, we've only used the finest and freshest ingredients, organic and locally sourced where possible, and backed in small batches. It keeps fabulously well in a tin for several days too. We could rave about how fantastic this cake is forever but the proof will be in the eating. 

So here it is! We think it's the best chocolate cake ever...
